Reworked: Small Space Entryway Gets Full-Sized Update

It’s been about a year since my, “The Entryway for Small Space Living”, post and let’s just say I figured out that I have more space than I thought I did.  Over time my small round ottoman proved to be no match for the amount of mail, magazines, and packages that continued to pile up week after week.

Recently, my god-parents gifted me with an antique oak 2 drawer console that was the perfect replacement for the aforementioned micro entryway situation. And just like that .. After a year and 11 months of living in LA, it wasn’t the palm trees, the endless summer weather, the beaches , or the clear view of the Hollywood sign, that made me feel like home, it was the moment I walked through the door and had a place to put all of my things.

But of course I couldn’t stop there. After seeing the console in its new home, I couldn’t ignore the fact that my porthole sized mirror was just not going to cut it. After all, standing on my toes to get a better view of my outfit, before heading out the door, was starting to get old.

What a difference a larger mirror makes?!
