Even though I’ve been on the go, I couldn’t let the week go by without getting in on all of the “Lemonade” talk. Before 9 pm last Saturday, at the mention of the word lemonade, you would be right to immediately think of the lemony, sweet but sour, southern classic. But A.B. (After Beyonce) the first thought that came to mind would mostly likely be the 12 track visual album , “Lemonade”, that sent the Beyhive in a frenzy.
Since the surprise album release, I’ve been seeing lemonade recipes pop up everywhere I look. Even Queen Bey herself, decided to share her Grandmother’s lemonade recipe, with her fans, to quench their thirst after salivating over an hour and 5 minutes of thought-provoking, raw, emotion filled imagery that has us all wanting to get in formation. Just in case you missed it, you can now stream it on Tidal and enjoy it as many times as the free trial allows.
Here are 5 recipes, including my own and Beyonce’s, that will make basic lemonade crazy jealous.
