The Perfect Game Day Snack: Pico de Gallo & Guacamole


Football season is officially here! No matter what team you’re going for this season, a good snack can bring everyone together, even if you don’t understand what’s actually going on.  Here are two game-winning recipes for Pico de Gallo and Guacamole.

Pico de Gallo Recipe

  • 2 cups Roma tomatoes, diced (3-4 tomatoes)
  • 1 cup white onion, finely diced (½ large onion)
  • ¼ cup jalapeno, seeds removed and minced (1 jalapeno)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt (or more to taste)
  • juice of 1 lime (or more to taste)


In a medium bowl, add the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro. Squeeze the juice from 1 lime into the bowl and sprinkle with salt. Stir to combine ingredients and taste. Add more lime juice and salt as necessary. Serve immediately.

Guacamole Recipe

  • 3 Ripe Avocados
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Red Onions
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Cilantro
  • ⅓ Cup Chopped Jalapeno
  • ⅛ Cup of Lime Juice
  • Pinch of Salt
  1. Place Avocados in a bowl and mash with a fork – You will want to leave it a little chunky.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and mix
